The invisalign process

Consultation

We offer a free of charge consulation where we will discuss the options for your treatment and your treatment with Invisalign® clear aligners. \

We use iTero®  scanning technology to scan your mouth and create a digital simulation of how your teeth will move as your treatment progresses from start to finish. You can view this on-screen at your appointment.

We will explain the entire treatment process and give you an indication of costs including monthly payment options and also show you examples of cases we have treated in the past.

We can then use your digital to create a more comprehensive 3D simulation called a Clincheck which will be used to determine each movement in every direction to every tooth over the course of your treatment plan. 

The aligners

Once you are happy with your proposed treatment plan and the associated costs. We can approve your treatment plan and the aligners will be processed for you. 

This process takes about 2-3 weeks. 

You will will visit us to have the aligners fitted and the attachments added to the teeth. You then wear each set of aligners for 1 week, removing them only to eat, drink, and brush your teeth.

As you replace each aligner for the next in the series, your teeth will move slightly, week by week until they are straightened to the final prescribed position.

We will see you for regular reviews and monitor your progress virtually through an app each week to ensure that everything is on track. 

Results

After your treatment is completed we recommend wearing retainers for the rest of your life to hold the teeth in their final position. We include the 3 sets of removable retainers with all of our Invisalign treatments to ensure that you are able to hold the teeth in place and maintain your new straight smile.
